This role involves providing coverage in various settings, including hospital operating rooms, the endoscopy unit, the cardiac lab, and the ambulatory surgery center.

Opportunity Details:

• Full-time position, totaling 2100 hours per year
• Involvement in vascular, orthopedic, spine, general surgery, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, and cardiac cases
• Minimal pediatric cases, primarily at the ASC
• Call Schedule: 1 weekend per month; 3 overnight in-house calls every 2 months; 4 second calls every 2 months

Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• New York State licensure and DEA registration are mandatory
• Board Certified or Eligible in Anesthesiology

Recruitment Package

We provide a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Compensation:
  • $575,000 for the call-taking position
  • An additional $25,000 stipend for cardiac anesthesia
• The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift pay, and other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please be aware that this salary range is in accordance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
• A sign-on bonus of $125,000
• Retention stipend for the first two years
• Premium Pay and Excess Call Pay options available
