Industry Renewables & Environment Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a focus on procurement, EPC, and O&M to join their legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic legal advice on complex EPC, procurement, and operations matters, and will be a key partner to the commercial, development, project finance, procurement, and asset management teams. This role involves drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements, as well as supporting commercial transactions and negotiations across utility-scale renewable energy projects. The Senior Counsel will also be expected to manage external counsel, contribute to the enhancement of legal processes, and advise on contractual risk and legal issues during project execution and operations. Applicants for this position should be qualified attorneys with a strong background in EPC, procurement, construction, and O&M, preferably within the context of renewable energy, power generation, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects. The role requires a proven track record in negotiating complex project and commercial agreements, as well as exposure to utility-scale wind, solar, and/or battery energy storage projects. The ideal candidate will be commercially focused, with excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with practical business objectives in a fast-paced environment.
