With only a couple of students on IEPs, you’ll have the chance to focus on supporting individual needs while fostering a welcoming learning atmosphere for all.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current certification in both General Education and Special Education, or eligibility for a pending certificate
• Experience or strong interest in inclusive education models
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Dedication to creating a supportive and respectful environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction and classroom management in line with best practices for both general and special education
• Develop differentiated lesson plans to engage all learners
• Implement IEP accommodations for students as needed
• Collaborate with staff to develop and track student progress
• Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging independence and growth
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Contribute to a safe, organized, and inclusive classroom climate
