This year, we are seeking two Special Education Teachers for middle school settings in dynamic Learning Disabilities (DL) roles. Qualifications:

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) endorsement (required)
• Experience working in special education and middle school environments

• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction to students with learning disabilities in a middle school setting
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff
• Track student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Participate in school meetings and professional development activities
