As an Agent Team Member, you will be responsible to… Greet each customer when they walk in. Answer and route all calls. Checking voice mail and creating tasks for team members. Process incoming and outgoing postal mail. Set- appointments & update calendar for team members. Make birthday and anniversary calls. Assist with planning and setting up events & outings. Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers as needed. Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of our business. Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification. Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options. Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day. As an Agent Team Member, you will need to be… Dedicated to customer service. Present a professional & friendly appearance. Able to effectively relate to a customer, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs. Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening) to assist customers and coordinate with other agency team members. Previous insurance service experience. State Farm experience preferred but not required. Self-motivated Proactive in problem-solving Bilingual - Spanish preferred High School Diploma (bachelor’s degree preferred). Property and Casualty license 4-40 or 2-20 Life and Health license (must be able to obtain) This position may require you to work certain evenings (for marketing/events) and/or Saturdays.
