Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans tailored for optimal recovery outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based, solution-focused therapeutic interventions to facilitate progress and promote positive change in patients’ lives.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with healthcare regulations while minimizing administrative burden to focus more on patient care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including healthcare providers, psychiatrists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families regarding mental health, treatment processes, and recovery strategies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying updated on the latest mental health research and integrating new developments into practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an essential member of our treatment team, you will serve a diverse population, including adults undergoing detoxification and those facing co-occurring mental health disorders. Your role will directly influence their recovery journey, enabling them to navigate the challenges of addiction and mental health with effective support and guidance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Nevada.
• Proficiency in solution-focused psychotherapy techniques, with a strong understanding of therapeutic methodologies.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, alongside an ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients' unique experiences.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical social work, preferably within a substance abuse or mental health setting.
• Experience working with detox or rehabilitation services and familiarity with associated challenges.
