Key Responsibilities

• Formulate accurate psychosocial diagnoses by leveraging your educational background, clinical training, and practical experience, ensuring each assessment is tailored to the individual’s context.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that outline specific goals and strategies for achieving mental wellness.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation to facilitate meaningful progress during sessions.

• Engage in regular coordination efforts with multi-disciplinary teams, including collaborating with Walmart Health & Wellness professionals and various service providers to ensure comprehensive and effective care.

• Monitor patient progress toward treatment goals through systematic tracking and follow-up, implementing adjustments to care as necessary based on observed outcomes.

• Assist in managing psychotropic medication as prescribed by medical professionals, focusing on adherence to treatment, assessing side effects, and ensuring treatment efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position specifically targets individuals undergoing detoxification and those struggling with mental health challenges, particularly in the context of substance use disorders. Clients may come from diverse backgrounds and may face a myriad of challenges; therefore, cultural sensitivity and adaptability in therapeutic approaches are essential. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California.

Preferred Experience
