Customer Service Event Staff - Denver, CO

The Spirit of the Position:

Perform tasks related to Customer Service related to the parking lots, usually during events.

• Schedule: Part-time varies Monday through Sunday for ALL of the Rockies Home Games and some other concerts that Coors Field host

Essential Functions

• Ensure tasks are completed according to all applicable company, local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
• Effectively communicate problems or concerns to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Must be able to perform all the following: stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend at the waist, grasp, and hold various tools and objects with both hands.
• Must be able to perform for extended periods near moving traffic and outside conditions, including inclement weather, cold and wind, heat and humidity, and possible exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Answer questions regarding parking and payment issues.
• Assist parkers in correctly lining up their vehicles within the designated lines.

Experience:

• Strong customer service experience required.
• Cash handling/credit card transaction experience is required.

Skills:

• Willingness to be flexible and work multiple facility locations.
• Ability to handle challenging and, at times, emotionally charged situations.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
• Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded).

Physical Demands:

• Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 10 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
