School Occupational Therapist - Tacoma, Washington

Key Requirements: Active Washington OT License Completed fingerprinting with OSPI Proven experience in school-based occupational therapy, ideally with adolescents Skilled in supervising and supporting COTAs Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities Passion for promoting independence and access for students with diverse needs Primary Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group OT services to secondary students as identified in IEPs Assess student needs and develop personalized intervention plans Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families Supervise and mentor a COTA, ensuring quality of care Maintain detailed records and provide progress reports Foster an inclusive and supportive school environment This position is onsite only, offering the chance to fully immerse yourself in the school community. Full-time scheduling at 37.5 hours per week ensures a consistent routine through the academic year.
