Industrial Maintenance Mechanic — Production Equipment
Picture the start of your day in a well-run manufacturing facility in Rochester Hills. You review a simple plan, grab your tools, and head to the floor. A quick walk-through reveals a press that needs a PM, a pneumatic line ready for a leak check, and a new piece of equipment being staged for install. You balance planned maintenance with the unexpected, keeping production moving safely and efficiently.
Your Day, Your Impact- Keep production assets running through preventive maintenance and real-time troubleshooting.
- Service and repair mechanical assemblies as well as hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and urgent production support requests.
- Assist with new equipment installs and contribute to process improvements.
- Use equipment manuals and technical documentation to pinpoint and implement effective fixes.
- Support continuous, reliable operation across the manufacturing floor.
- Hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues on mechanical equipment.
- Working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Comfort reading manuals, troubleshooting independently, and solving problems methodically.
- A strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine curiosity about how machines work.
- Enjoyment of practical, hands-on work.
