Desired qualifications and background:

• Valid license or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Texas
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

• Ability to develop and implement effective individualized treatment plans
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting assessments and evaluations for students to determine OT needs

• Documenting progress, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participating in IEP/504 meetings and contributing expertise for student success
• Providing consultation and training to staff as needed
