Chefman is one of North America's fastest-growing small kitchen appliance companies and our website is about to become one of our biggest growth engines. We're looking for a Director of Ecommerce to take full ownership of our DTC business: the traffic, the revenue, the customer relationships, and the experience that turns a first-time visitor into a loyal Chefman customer. 

This isn't a maintenance role. It's a build role. You'll have the mandate, the budget, and the executive visibility to make bold calls and the resources of a nearly $500M company to back them up. 

If you're the kind of operator who gets energized by a conversion-rate dashboard, who's already tested three affiliate structures this year, and who thinks "we should just build that ourselves" more often than "let's hire an agency", this is your seat. 

 

What You'll Own  

• Traffic & Revenue. Full accountability for growing traffic and revenue across Chefman's owned website this is your P&L to build and defend. 

• DTC Strategy. Lead our direct-to-consumer ecommerce strategy across Shopify and related platforms, end to end. 

• Customer Acquisition. Drive growth across paid media, SEO, email, SMS, and social, the full modern acquisition stack, not just the channels that were easy five years ago. 

• Affiliate & Influencer Growth. Build and scale our affiliate and influencer programs into a real, durable revenue channel, not a one-off campaign, but a structured, measurable engine with the partner relationships and tracking to prove it. 

• Conversion & Experience. Own website conversion, merchandising, customer journey, and retention from the first scroll to the fifth repeat purchase. 

• Cross-Functional Leadership. Partner closely with Creative and Marketing on campaigns, launches, promotions, and site content you'll be the connective tissue between brand storytelling and commercial results. 

• Data-Driven Growth. Dig into traffic, customer behavior, and ecommerce performance data to find the next optimization and the next big bet. 

• Beyond Amazon. Build the strategies that strengthen our direct relationship with customers, independent of any single marketplace. 

• Relentless Testing. Lead experimentation across landing pages, PDPs, checkout flow, and lifecycle marketing always shipping, always learning. 

 

What You Bring  

• 7+ years of ecommerce, DTC, or digital growth experience ideally with real P&L ownership, not just influence. 

• Strong Shopify chops and a track record inside consumer brands you know what "good" looks like because you've built it before. 

• A proven growth story. You've driven measurable traffic, conversion, and online revenue growth, and you can talk numbers, not just narratives. 

• Full-stack fluency across performance marketing, SEO, CRM/email, and analytics you don't need a translator to talk to your paid media lead or your data analyst. 

• Real affiliate and influencer experience. You've built these programs yourself, not just approved someone else's plan and you can point to what they actually delivered, and whether that impact held up over time. 

• Cross-functional range. You've worked shoulder-to-shoulder with creative, marketing, and product teams and know how to turn a great campaign idea into a great commerce outcome. 

• An entrepreneurial, hands-on mindset. You're as comfortable pulling your own GA4 report at 7am as you are presenting a growth roadmap to leadership.

Salary Range (commensurate with experience)

$140,000—$190,000 USD
