About the Role:
GMA Mechanical Corp is looking for a driven and detail-oriented HVAC Service/Accounting Manager to join our office team in Port Jefferson Station, NY. This is a unique dual-role opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly bridge the gap between HVAC service operations and financial management. Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day HVAC service department operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and coordinating technicians
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and billing processes
• Order parts for jobs, prepare quotes and unit replacement proposals
• Serve as a primary point of contact for customer service inquiries, complaints, and service agreements
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, work orders, and technician performance
• Process payroll, vendor payments, and reconcile accounts using Service Titan
• Support management with operational analysis, manage technicians

Requirements:

• Prior experience in HVAC, mechanical, or trades industry office management strongly preferred
• Proficiency in  software (Service Titan or similar preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and job costing
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced office environment
• Strong communication skills for coordinating between field technicians, customers, and vendors
• Experience with service dispatch or scheduling software is a plus
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
