The New Product Introduction (NPI) Supply Chain team is responsible for collaborating with suppliers and P&W’s product development teams (IPT’s). The candidate should be customer focused, have strong communication skills, and demonstrates the ability to deliver results. New Product Introduction has responsibility to all aspects of supply chain management; sourcing strategy, negotiation, order placement, and delivery assurance. NPI supports efforts using cutting edge technologies and designs in support of military and commercial next generation engine platforms. This position requires exceptional problem-solving skills & the ability to leverage working relationships across the many P&W functional groups; Quality, Materials, Engineering, MCL, ESA, Regional Offices, Programs and multiple suppliers. The NPI Account Specialist will be responsible to demonstrate the following, including but not limited to: Creating the sourcing strategy and coordinating source selection alignment Proactively tracks and manages supplier work in process (WIP), identifies risks to planned delivery, and maintains promise dating Maintain purchase orders including but not limited to technical definition changes, supplier exceptions, pricing and delivery. Use minimum requirements standard work as a competitive advantage Evaluating Technology and Manufacturing Readiness Levels (TRL & MRL) for efforts Coordinate resolution of quality issues, QN’s, and RCCA for supplier quality escapes Identify and manage supplier risks to program industrial plans Qualifications you must have: Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in supply chain, manufacturing, industrial management, or related field U.S. Citizen - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
