DUTIES - MUST PROVIDE THE BASIC TOOLS REQUIRED FOR HEAVY TRUCK MECHANICS
- DIAGNOSE AND TROUBLESHOOT ALL MECHANICAL ISSUES IN DIESEL ENGINES AND RELATED SYSTEMS.
- PERFORM ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OIL CHANGES, TIRE ROTATION AND BRAKE INSPECTION ON HEAVY TRUCKS AND EQUIPMENT.
- REPAIR OR REPLACE FAULTY COMPONENT SUCH AS SUSPENSION COMPONENTS, ENGINE/TRANSMISSION COMPONENTS AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS COMPONENTS.
- MUST BE ABLE TOUSE DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT TO CONDUCT REPAIRS QUICKLY AND EFFECTIVELY.
- MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM TIRE SERVICE INCLUDING MOUNTING, BALANCING AND ALIGNMENTS AS NEEDED.
- WILL WORK ON FARM EQUIPMENT AND OTHER HEAVY EQUIPMENT EXCAVATOR, BULLDOZER AND SKIDSTEER, ETC. WHEN REQUIRED.
- MAINTAIN ACCURATE RECORD OF REPAIRS ON WORK ORDERS AND SERVICES PERFORMED ON EACH JOB.
- COLLABORATE WITH TEAM MEMBERS TO ENSURE TIMELY COMPLETION OF REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE.
