This position is fully onsite, allowing therapists the flexibility to work in various home environments across Miami. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluating and treating patients in their homes, developing tailored treatment plans that address specific recovery goals.
• Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise programs, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Documenting treatment sessions thoroughly, including patient responses and progress toward goals, using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Modifying treatment plans as needed based on ongoing evaluations to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Fitting and recommending assistive devices, such as walkers or braces, and training patients and their caregivers in their use.
• Providing education and support for families and caregivers on best practices for home care and rehabilitation.
• Attending workshops and training sessions actively to stay updated on the latest physical therapy advancements and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic varies widely, encompassing children with developmental delays, adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, and seniors managing chronic illnesses. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, along with a valid physical therapy license in the State of Florida.

• A working knowledge of computer systems, particularly in documentation and scheduling, is necessary for efficient practice.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with a diverse patient population in various settings are key attributes for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy practice is preferred, although recent graduates with internships are also highly encouraged to apply.
• Experience in home health therapy is an asset, familiarizing therapists with common challenges faced in patient home environments.
