Exciting Opportunity at MSK Join our renowned Head & Neck Surgery Team as an Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) and make a lasting impact on the lives of our patients! Role Overview In this dynamic role, you'll play a crucial role on our Head & Neck surgical service, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert, compassionate care in the peri-operative setting. In this role you will deliver comprehensive care to Head and Neck patients in both the outpatient clinic and operating room. This includes pre-operative assessments, assisting in office procedures and surgeries, and providing follow up care in the outpatient setting.At MSK, we don't just treat cancer-we change lives. Key Qualifications Graduate from an accredited PA Program NCCPA certification Active New York State license or be qualified for state licensure ACLS/BLS certification 2+ years experience as an APP, in a surgical specialty preferred Or Current New York State RN and NP license/registration Master's degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges RNFA Certification Related National NP certification ACLS/BLS certification 2+ years experience as an APP, in a surgical specialty preferred Core Skills A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward Able to work effectively in an environment notable for complex information Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals Effective at gaining the support and commitment of others by engaging them around your point of view and priorities Flexible in your approach and demeanor in order to align with the shifting demands of evolving circumstances Work collaboratively with other APPs, nurses and physicians, including fellows and residents Flexible with scheduling and will adapt to the needs of the service Additional Information Location: Main Hospital Campus, 1275 York Ave, New York, NY Hours: 4 -10-hour shifts per week, M-F Reports to: Manager, APP Pay Range $155,500 - $197,400/annually Pay Range: $136,400.00 - $225,100.00 FSLA Status: Exempt Helpful Links Compensation Philosophy Benefits Closing At MSK, we believe in fair, competitive pay that reflects your job, experience, and skills.
