Job Description

• Perform detailed patient assessments, including thorough physical exams and meticulous medical history reviews
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to create and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies
• Support intraoperative activities, such as preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgeries
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medications, managing wounds, discharge planning, and educating patients

Education

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations emphasizing surgery strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills
