Job Details Job Location: Notre Dame High School San Jose, San Jose, CA 95112 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Salary Range: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 Travel Percentage: Up to 25% Summary The Admissions Associate will work in conjunction with the Director of Admissions to support the recruitment and enrollment processes for the school. Recruitment Develop recruitment strategies and assist with the Annual Recruitment Plan Coordinate and organize outreach programs: 8th Grade Shadow Program, 7th Grade LEAD Program Schedule and implement junior high classroom visit program Conduct parent and student tours as needed Recruit, train, and support student Ambassadors Plan, coordinate, and organize recruitment events such as virtual and in-person Information Nights, Open House, Eighth Grade Day, Seventh Grade Preview Afternoons, LEAD reception, and other targeted recruiting events Train faculty, staff and parent volunteers for recruitment events Align admissions marketing efforts with school-wide branding and collaborate with Director and Marcom team on admissions collateral Admissions Evaluate eighth grade and transfer student applicants Prepare freshman applicant files with proposed decisions to the Admissions Committee Prepare transfer applicant files with proposed decisions to the Admissions Committee Plan, coordinate, and organize admissions events such as the High School Placement test and Admitted Family Welcome Event(s) Onboarding Plan, coordinate, and organize retention events such as Freshman Family Welcome Day and Freshman Orientation; support retention efforts for targeted groups such as honors students Manage applicant case management for eighth grade and transfer students as agreed with Director of Admissions Monitor enrollment and waiting list needs Public Relations Support the Junior High Outreach program in collaboration with program directors and club moderators Develop relationships with middle school teachers and administrators and provide excellent customer service to school personnel Provide excellent customer service to prospective families during the admissions experience and contribute to a culture of customer service throughout the institution Information Management Maintain an accurate admissions database Populate prospective student information Manage the database of applicants Support information gathering and statistical analysis needs for the school Assist with the development and maintenance of the annual enrollment report for the Administrative Team and the Board of Directors Department Management In the absence of the Director of Admissions, act as acting admissions lead Supervise interns throughout the day Manage and maintain inventory of admissions materials Assist with maintenance of the admissions budget Qualifications Bachelor's degree Ability to drive school vehicles that transport students to and from admissions events Excellent organization skills Attention to detail for accuracy Strong communication skills and comfort with public speaking, including the ability to articulate the mission and impact of the school to various constituents Commitment to customer service Empathetic listening skills Collaborative team player able to work with all Notre Dame constituencies: administration, faculty and staff, students, parents, and prospective Notre Dame families, junior high school personnel and the Office of Education of the San Jose Diocese Proficiency with technology Growth mindset and desire to learn new things Preferred Qualifications Strong ability to manipulate and analyze data/statistics Comfort with public speaking Experience with event planning Multilingual desired Terms of Employment 2026-27 academic year Annual renewable contract Competitive compensation package Full-Time position Hours: General business office hours; occasional nights and weekends #J-18808-Ljbffr
