By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Monitoring Lead to join our team in Melville, New York (US-NY), United States (US).ELK administration and should be responsible for administering other monitoring tools such as Prometheus & Grafana to instrument apps hosted on container platform such as Openshift and AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services).ELK Administration and Monitoring tools Instrumentation Engineer for Apps hosted on container platform (OpenShift and Azure Kubernetes Services)Take ownership of any issues / outages related to monitoring configurations and take it to closureConfigure/Setting up new alerts using tools but not limited to:Splunk, ELK, Azure Native monitoring tools, AppDynamics, Graylog, Promotheus, Grafana, Catchpoint, Idera, ManageEngine etc)Coordinate on validating the accuracy of the information in the events / alerts.Classify the events /alerts and record the changes in wiki, Runbook.Periodically update Runbooks of all the productsCorrelate events/alerts for correctnessSupport Business teams to trouble shoot, integrate, & test monitoring toolsKPI’s review with Digital Ops Monitoring & Engineering teamsValidate and sign off Alerts & notification standard protocolReview notifications list for correctness and Sign offReview the monitoring thresholds and where appropriate make recommendationsUpdate the new changes in Wiki and RunbooksFollow up to closure of alertsAutomate simple and routine tasksMonthly review on KEDB & Runbooks of Digital Ops monitoring tools.Maintain all the important documents in Digital Ops SharePoint site/WikiTrack all the tasks through JIRA tickets with proper updates and closure per SLADaily STANDUP call with Digital Ops Monitoring leads and share the updatesELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) (Log Management and Open Source APM)Minimum 2 years’ experience in ELK on log management and Open Source Application Performance Management (APM)Experience on troubleshooting issue in business applications and ELK Tool related issuesSplunk (Log Management)Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring using SplunkExperience on troubleshooting issue in business applications and Splunk Tool related issuesHands-on Splunk log analytics, dashboard & reportingAzure Native Monitoring Tools (Appinsight, Log Analytics, Management Solutions, Network Monitoring, Service Maps, Azure Monitor, Azure Diagnostics, Advisor, Service Health & Activity Log)Experience on monitoring & alerts setup using Azure native monitoring toolsAppDynamics (APM)Minimum 2 years’ experience in monitoring operation with AppDynamicsExperience on Infra, Application, DB, Mobile App, Synthetic monitoring setupExperience on troubleshooting issue in business applications and AppDynamics Tool related issuesThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
