1st Shift Welder Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm Pay: $24/hour Job Description This 1st shift welder position focuses on MIG and flux core welding on carbon steel components in a fabrication and repair environment. The role involves interpreting blueprints, performing structural steel work, and carrying out grinding, beveling, and valve tear-down tasks to support high-quality production and maintenance operations. Responsibilities Perform flux core welding on carbon steel as the primary welding process. Carry out MIG welding tasks in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints accurately to complete welding and fabrication work as required. Grind and bevel materials to prepare weld surfaces and ensure proper fit-up. Tear down and repair old valves and related components as part of maintenance and refurbishment work. Work with structural steel in fabrication projects, ensuring proper measurement, cutting, and assembly. Essential Skills At least 3 years of MIG welding experience. At least 3 years of flux core welding experience. At least 3 years of blueprint reading experience. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harmony, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
