Commercial Plumbing Operations Manager
$100,000–$130,000 + Performance Bonus
Location: Brea, CA (Semi-Remote)
Travel: Southern California and Arizona
About the Opportunity
An established and growing commercial plumbing contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Plumbing Operations Manager to oversee daily operations while leading our expansion into Arizona.
This is an executive leadership opportunity for someone who has successfully managed operations for a commercial plumbing or mechanical contractor with annual revenues between $5 million and $15 million . The ideal candidate is a proven leader who can improve operations, increase profitability, build strong teams, and create scalable systems.

Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day commercial plumbing operations
Lead project managers, superintendents, foremen, and office staff
Develop and launch the Arizona Division
Recruit and build operations and field teams
Manage manpower planning and scheduling
Monitor labor productivity and job profitability
Review contracts, RFIs, submittals, budgets, and change orders
Improve operational systems and company processes
Build relationships with general contractors and owners
Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Travel periodically throughout Southern California and Arizona
Qualifications
Required
10–15 years of commercial plumbing or mechanical contracting experience
Leadership experience with a $5M–$15M commercial plumbing or mechanical contractor
Experience managing multiple commercial construction projects
Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems
Strong understanding of scheduling, labor management, job costing, and profitability
Ability to read construction drawings and specifications
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Preferred
Experience opening a new office or branch
Experience scaling a commercial contractor
Southern California commercial construction experience
Arizona construction experience is a plus
