Project EngineerVolt is immediately hiring a Direct Hire Project Engineer (Land Development) in Santa Clarita, CA.As a Project Engineer, you will:Lead the engineering design and execution of land development and civil infrastructure projects.Develop project work plans, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.Oversee project progress and coordinate activities to ensure quality, budget, and schedule objectives are met.Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, calculations, and supporting documents.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers, designers, and CAD drafters.Collaborate with clients, contractors, and public agencies throughout the project lifecycle.Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.Evaluate technical challenges and develop practical engineering solutions for complex projects.This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.The ideal candidate will have:Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.Minimum of 6 years of civil engineering experience with a PE license, or 10+ years of relevant civil engineering design experience.Strong knowledge of land development and site design, including grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and stormwater systems.Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and technical deliverables.Proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CADD platforms.Strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulic analysis principles.Experience reviewing engineering plans and performing QA/QC processes.Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills & Qualifications:Professional Engineer (PE) license.California PE registration.Experience working directly with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and contractors.Familiarity with hydrology and hydraulic modeling software.Previous experience leading engineering teams and mentoring junior staff.Background in construction support, field observations, and project closeout activities.Pay Rate: $110,000 - $145,000 annually.Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
