We utilize state-of-the-art machinery and innovative manufacturing techniques to consistently engineer products of the highest possible quality.The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for determining if our products follow our Manufacturing Process Plan (MPP) and meet established criteria for quality. Quality Assurance Inspectors will rotate through all production departments.Responsibilities:Test parts and assemblies using established procedures.Follow established inspection methods and sampling plans, conduct testing and inspection in any department, including molding, assembly, distribution, and receiving.Enter inventory transactions.Conduct all work promptly and with accuracy.Thoroughly document data such as product non-conformances and inspection findings and clearly communicate results.Standing for periods of time and moving on foot throughout the plant conducting inspections is required.Support and comply with all Suncast safety policies, quality standards, and housekeeping methods at all times.Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalentAbility to read and understand drawings and documentsBasic math skills neededBasic computer and data entry skills.Familiarity with Quality Assurance concepts and inspection experience not required but a strong plusBilingual English/Spanish a plusGood interpersonal and communication skillsDetail-oriented and able to work well without direct supervisionManufacturing experience strongly preferredMust be able to work 6 days per weekWork Environment:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
