This role will be responsible for overseeing the document control process for capital and operational projects within an active manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience managing project documentation, establishing document control procedures, coordinating with project teams and contractors, and ensuring all project records are accurate, current, and maintained in accordance with company and client requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all document control activities for factory transformation and capital improvement projects.Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures, standards, and workflowsEnsure project documentation is properly received, reviewed, distributed, tracked, stored, and archived.Manage document control systems and maintain accurate records of engineering documents, drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and project correspondence.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure timely processing of project documentationMonitor document revision control and ensure the latest approved versions are available to project teams.Track document deliverables and maintain document registers to support project milestones and reporting requirements.Perform quality checks to ensure documentation meets project, regulatory, and company standards.Generate document control reports and provide status updates to project teams and leadership.Support audits, inspections, and project closeout activities by ensuring complete and accurate project recordsTrain project personnel on document control processes, procedures, and systems.Identify opportunities to improve document management processes and overall project efficiency.
