We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Public Health Case Manager for a 13-week contract opportunity in Bethel, Alaska. The RN will provide comprehensive public health case management focused on well-child examinations, pediatric care, immunizations, infectious disease screening, chronic care, and preventive health services .

• Manage public health cases involving well-child examinations, immunizations, chronic health conditions, tuberculosis, infectious disease screening, and diagnostic testing.

• Provide pediatric and preventive health assessments, patient education, immunization services, and ongoing case management.

• Travel to assigned villages to provide public health services and support Community Health Aides and Practitioners with examinations, testing, and immunizations.

• Train and educate clinical staff on well-childcare, immunizations, preventive health, screening, and applicable public health procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records, coordinate care with healthcare providers, monitor patient progress, and participate in public health program quality improvement activities.

• Minimum 2 Years of Registered Nurse or Relevant Public Health Experience Required; Pediatric Experience Required.

• Current, Active Alaska Registered Nurse License Required.

• Current BLS Certification Required; ACLS and PALS Certifications Recommended.

• Diploma, associate degree, or Associate of Applied Science in Nursing Required; BSN or MSN Preferred.

• Ability to Travel to Remote Villages Required; Computer Skills Required and Current COVID Vaccination Documentation Required; Teaching, Cross-Cultural Healthcare, and Community Health Aide Program Experience Preferred.
