Merchant Services Account Executive - Business Development

You will be responsible for driving Merchant Services revenue growth across a local geographic territory, supporting Business Banking clients with $1–10MM in annual revenue. Success requires a balance of proactive external prospecting and leveraging bank‑banker relationships. Key Responsibilities Prospect and acquire new Merchant Services clients within the Business Banking segment Partner closely with BBRMs and other bank stakeholders to uncover opportunities and deliver integrated solutions Execute disciplined outbound activity, including targeted outreach and referral‑based prospecting, to build a strong pipeline Lead client engagements from discovery through close, aligning solutions to operational and cash‑flow needs Develop and execute territory‑specific growth strategies that support bank objectives for deposit growth, retention, and fee income Serve as a trusted advisor, reinforcing the bank’s value proposition and long‑term client relationships Provide some in‑person installation support in conjunction with dedicated internal resources Qualifications Client Relationship Building Cold Prospecting Competitive Strategies Customer Inquiries Merchant Services Negotiation Operations Management Prospecting Sales Sales Operations Business Acumen Client Relationship Management Customer Experience Management Decision Making and Critical Thinking Effective Communications Tech Savvy Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or comparable combination of education, certification, and experience No required certifications or licenses Base Salary $70,000.00 – $70,000.00 (may vary based on location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education). This role is incentive eligible with payment based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
