Thoracic Surgeon Opportunity
The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System is seeking a highly qualified Thoracic Surgeon to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team dedicated to serving America's Veterans.
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead, develop, and grow a comprehensive thoracic surgery program in a collaborative environment that supports excellence, innovation, education, and clinical advancement.
Position highlights:
- Provide full-spectrum thoracic surgical care, including: advanced lung cancer care, robotic-assisted thoracic surgery, esophageal and foregut disease, pleural disease, chest wall tumors, pulmonary nodules, complex thoracic pathologies.
- Work within a progressive, mission-driven VA healthcare system.
- Participate in teaching residents and medical students.
- Engage in multidisciplinary oncology care, educational conferences, quality improvement initiatives, and clinical research.
- Enjoy strong support for leadership, program development, and service expansion.
