Lotus Family Dental is seeking a caring, motivated, and experienced Registered Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused dental team.

The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, dependable, and committed to providing excellent preventive and periodontal care while helping patients maintain long-term oral health.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, SCRP and periodontal maintenance.
• Conduct periodontal assessments and charting.
• Take and review digital dental X-rays as permitted by law.
• Provide oral hygiene instructions and patient education.
• Assist in identifying periodontal conditions and communicating findings to the dentist.
• Maintain accurate and complete clinical documentation in Dentrix.
• Follow infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Build positive, long-term relationships with patients.
• Work collaboratively with the dentist and dental team to provide an excellent patient experience.
• Help maintain an efficient schedule while providing high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Registered Dental Hygienist license .
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous dental hygiene experience preferred.
• Experience with Dentrix is a plus.
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, reliable, and patient-focused.
• Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
• Spanish-speaking is a plus
