Customer Service RepresentativeThe position of customer service representative consists of interacting with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products or services, taking customer orders, and handling and resolving complaints.TasksCommunicate with customers by telephone, email, and in person to provide information about products and services, to take or enter orders, or obtain details of complaints.Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess the validity of complaints and to determine possible causes.Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results and any planned adjustments.Determine charges for services and send quotes to customers.Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.Some clerical duties as needed (i.e., filing, data entry, etc.)Qualifications and requirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to use computer and computer systems, to process and verify information, and to resolve conflicts or negotiate.CompetenciesAttention to detail-Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.Dependability- Job requires being reliable, responsible, dependable, and fulfilling obligations.Teamwork- Job requires working as part of a team with effective communication skills.Self-control- Job requires maintaining composure, keeping emotions in check, and communicating calmly and effectively in some high-stress situations.Are you ready to join a different kind of company where our people, our culture, and our commitments are centered around providing trusted solutions that improve lives around the world?Total RewardsThe compensation range for this position is $42,500.00 - $63,700.00, depending on experience.
