Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and compliance throughout their treatment and diagnostic processes.

Responsibilities:

• Administer pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac catheterization and EP patients.
• Monitor patient vital signs, EKGs, and procedural responses during interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures, assessments, and interventions in EPIC.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and compliance standards, including pass/fail EKG exams.
• Participate in flexible staffing as needed across different hospital campuses.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license in good standing.
• Possess 2+ years of cardiac telemetry or cath lab experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with EPIC EMR systems.
• Complete necessary compliance modules during orientation.
• Be ACLS and BLS certified.
• Be willing to float to various facilities as required.
