Wood Lawn & Landscaping is looking for a dependable, motivated Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our growing team.

About the Position

The Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader is responsible for leading a maintenance crew while working alongside the team to maintain residential and commercial landscapes to Wood Lawn & Landscaping's standards.

This is a hands-on leadership position . You will work alongside your crew while taking responsibility for daily production, quality, organization, customer service, equipment, and crew development.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew.
• Complete scheduled work efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards.
• Perform lawn mowing, trimming, and edging.
• Prune shrubs, ornamental plants, and other landscape material.
• Install mulch, pine straw, and plants in planting beds.
• Perform seasonal cleanups and removal of leaves and landscape debris.
• Perform dormant pruning during the winter months.
• Maintain clean and professional client properties and job sites.
• Properly operate and care for company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
• Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and management.
• Help train and develop Maintenance Technicians.
• Monitor crew productivity and the quality of completed work.
• Take responsibility for the crew's daily performance and production.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate:

• Has previous landscape maintenance experience.
• Takes pride in doing quality work.
• Is dependable and arrives ready to work.
• Has strong communication skills.
• Can work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrates leadership potential or previous crew leadership experience.
• Is willing to learn and continually improve.
• Is comfortable working outdoors and performing physically demanding work.
• Can safely operate landscape equipment.
• Takes care of company equipment and vehicles.
• Wants to build a long-term career in the landscaping industry .

Previous Crew Leader experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right Maintenance Technician who demonstrates leadership ability, reliability, and a desire to advance.

Compensation

$18–$22 Per Hour

Starting compensation is based on experience, skill level, leadership ability, and production.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

Normal scheduled hours: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM

The normal scheduled day includes a scheduled lunch break .

Our Monday–Friday schedule provides a predictable workweek and allows our team members to plan their lives outside of work.
