Job Summary:
Tucson, Arizona This Radiologic Technologist position specializes in computed tomography (CT) imaging within a healthcare facility. The role involves performing prescribed procedures in accordance with department protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient care. The technician will foster teamwork and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program; National Certification required from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)); State Licensure required for Arizona; Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography from ARRT(CT) or NMTCB (CT) within 18 months of hire; BLS certification; Clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The Radiologic Technologist will perform prescribed CT procedures, demonstrate competence in equipment quality control, and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Responsibilities include patient education, maintaining accurate documentation, troubleshooting equipment issues, and adhering to safety policies. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
