About This Role The Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Highlights Location: Manhasset, NY Facility: Northwell Health Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You’ll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychological health status. Develop individualized patient outcome statements and goals. Coordinate cost-effective use of supplies and medications. Implement and maintain safety precautions in patient care. Provide emotional support and discharge instructions to patients and families. Measure effectiveness of care and perform variance analysis for improvement. Collaborate with care team members on treatment regimens. Administer medications safely and educate patients on drug interactions. Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Experience Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN degree within five (5) years of job entry date.
