Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist specializing in NICU/PEDS. Position available in a facility with 247 licensed beds. This facility is a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center and a teaching hospital. The therapist will provide respiratory care for all patients throughout the facility. Patient types include neonates and pediatric patients, with potential care for adults when floated. A minimum of 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy is required. Experience with IPPV/NIPPV ventilators is essential. Additional experience in ED, PICU, Peds CVICU, Peds PCU, and General Medicine floors is preferred. Support within the department is provided by Respiratory Leadership. The electronic medical record system used is EPIC. Department-specific equipment includes various ventilators, with details to be discussed during the interview.
