MLee Medical Employment

Capture the Essence of Care in the Heart of the Carolinas - Where Community and Advancement Harmonize

Charlotte, North Carolina, invites you to immerse yourself in a blend of fast-paced metropolitan life and Southern charm. Picture a city where innovation thrives amidst historical roots; a landscape filled with parks, a vibrant arts scene, and an array of culinary delights. Here exists a unique opportunity for an Imaging Specialist , someone whose passion lies in precision and patient care. If you're eager for a career that nourishes both your professional growth and your spirit, we have an exciting role tailor-made for you.

This position places you at the helm of medical imaging, a crucial aspect of patient care. You'll not only harness your technical abilities to produce immaculate, diagnostic images but also foster a soothing and reassuring atmosphere for patients who depend on your expertise during some of their most vulnerable moments. Whether orchestrating a scan that illuminates a treatment pathway or providing comfort to a worried parent, your contributions are pivotal and will be profoundly valued.

Your Unfolding Responsibilities
  • Utilize radiographic and CT technology to procure top-tier diagnostic images for physician analysis
  • Partner with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure precise diagnosis and treatment
  • Correctly position patients while adjusting equipment to maximize imaging quality
  • Adhere strictly to protocols that protect patients and staff from radiation exposure
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including imaging logs and routine equipment checks
  • Deliver empathetic care to patients throughout their imaging journey
  • Help cultivate a safe, orderly, and efficient imaging environment
Essential Educational Background
  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
  • Graduation from an accredited radiology program
Necessary Certifications
  • ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
  • Current BLS certification or ability to secure this within 90 days of employment
Attributes That Set You Apart
  • Mastery of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety guidelines
  • Strong communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced setting while adapting to dynamic needs
  • A meticulous nature and deep sense of accountability
  • Technological aptitude with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging systems
Your Gains in this Role
  • Comprehensive health benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Generous paid time off alongside scheduling flexibility
  • Access to ongoing continuing education and skills training on-site
  • Opportunities for career progression in imaging and cross-training in varied modalities
  • A supportive, mission-driven workplace that emphasizes team success and individual growth
  • 100% on-site work in a cooperative clinical atmosphere

The Impact of Your Work: More Than Just Images

This position transcends the act of producing images; it's about making each patient feel acknowledged and valued. From a child needing a scan after a fall to a senior undergoing a vital cancer screening, your calming demeanor can significantly ease their experience. You'll be the steadfast support system, quietly reassuring patients as they navigate their challenges.

Here, you won't be isolated. You'll be welcomed into a collaborative imaging team that cherishes the value of each member's contributions. The CT suite operates on mutual respect and collective pride, ensuring support is always at hand when needed. Here in healthcare, we prioritize humanity, professionalism, and compassion in equal measure.
