Shipping/Receiving & Production Assistant
Location: Donald Oregon
Pay: $20–$25/hr, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
⏰ Overtime: Occasional — approximately 1 hour before or after shift
About the Company
Manufacturing exclusively manufactures exhaust silencers and supporting products . Their heavy-duty commercial silencers are designed for industrial, stationary, and marine applications.
Job Duties
- Shipping and receiving using pick sheets
- Loading and unloading large products using cranes and dollies
- Staging product
- Packaging
- Assisting with production
- Using hand tools, including grinders, impact guns, and air tools
- Following all safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and moving throughout the workday
- Basic knowledge of fractions is helpful
- Comfortable working around loud noises and in a dirty/industrial environment
- Comfortable around solvent smells; ask candidates about any allergies
- Steel-toed boots required
- Hard-working, punctual, and reliable
- Product is carbon steel or stainless steel and can be very large and extremely heavy
- Safety is a top priority
