Overview Join Our Team as an Onsite School Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist in Algonquin, IL for the 26/27 School Year! We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy in PreK‑12 schools. Position Details Start Date: August 2026 for the 26/27 school year Hours: Full‑time (7.5 hours/day) Grade Levels: PreK‑12 Credentials and Requirements: IL SLP License, PEL, and bilingual (English‑Spanish) required Compensation: Starting at $53/hour (commensurate with experience) Location: Algonquin, IL – Onsite only Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills in both English and a target language. Develop and implement individualized speech‑language therapy plans to address students’ communication goals in both languages. Provide direct therapy services individually and in small groups, addressing articulation, phonology, language comprehension, vocabulary, and social communication. Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff to integrate therapy goals into IEPs and classroom activities. Communicate regularly with parents and the educational team about progress and recommendations. Utilize evidence‑based therapy techniques, materials, and technology. Maintain accurate and confidential records of sessions, assessments, and reports. Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP. Current ASHA certification. Experience providing therapy in a school or pediatric setting. Proficiency with assessment tools and therapeutic techniques used in pediatric speech‑language pathology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail. Knowledge of AAC systems and assistive technology (preferred). Benefits Competitive salary.
