Job Title: General Production Laborer Job Description

This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks in a warehouse and production environment. You will help keep job sites clean and organized, move and handle materials, and support simple assembly activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Clean and prepare job sites to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient work area.
• Load, unload, and deliver materials to designated locations within the warehouse or job site.
• Perform simple assembly tasks as directed to support production operations.
• Handle materials and equipment safely while following instructions and established procedures.
• Maintain focus and attention to detail while performing repetitive or physically demanding tasks.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and team members to understand work assignments and report progress.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company policies while working in the warehouse and on job sites.

• Strong physical strength to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Good hand-eye coordination to perform simple assembly and material handling tasks accurately.
• High level of endurance to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
• Ability to concentrate and stay focused on tasks in a busy warehouse or production environment.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Effective basic communication skills to share information and ask questions when needed.
• No minimum educational requirements; willingness and ability to learn on the job.

• Previous experience in general labor, production, or assembly environments is helpful but not required.
• Comfort working in a warehouse setting with varying tasks and priorities.
• Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production and warehouse operations.

You will work primarily in a warehouse environment that supports production and assembly operations. The setting includes active job sites where materials are moved, loaded, and assembled. Expect to be on your feet for most of the shift, performing physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and handling materials. The environment may involve exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. You will follow safety procedures and use appropriate equipment as directed to complete your work efficiently and safely.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hillsborough, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Hillsborough,NJ.
