LPN/LVN Rehabilitation Nursing Position

The position involves providing nursing care to adults requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high acuity needs. Staff will assist with patient mobility and safety, responding to call lights and supporting nursing aides. All nurses must be prepared to handle high-acuity patient cases, functioning similarly to a medical surgical unit. The facility is a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation establishment dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of recovery. Specialized programs are available for individuals who have experienced strokes, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries. The goal is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs. Physical equipment utilized includes ceiling lifts, mobility tools, vital signs machines, and electronic health record systems. Attendance and punctuality are key, with mandatory break policies and adherence to scheduling practices in place. Weekend and holiday rotations may be required. There may be a future requirement to float to a nearby facility if necessary.
