- This role will support acceptance testing functions on production AND development/prototype products within the Advanced Product Center (APC) at the McKinney, TX site.
- The effective candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks and testing functions in support of a manufacturing / production / depot environment on 1st shift. The candidate will work directly with engineering on production and troubleshooting tasks.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome technical challenges.
- Fault-isolate problems and assisting in the resolution of issues between the test environment (test station, interface adapter, test cables, etc.) and the devices under test.
- Experience in observing, analyzing, and reporting test data.
- Select and set up appropriate test equipment based on test specifications.
- Interpretation of test data (plots, graphs, tabulated parameters, etc.) to choose pass/fail condition and resolve when further analysis is needed.
- Basic use of hand tools, torque tools and analyzers, and power tools
- Minimum 2 years of testing experience. Education in a STEM background may be substituted for work experience.
- Experience with Oscilloscopes, Pulse Generators, Programmable Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Multimeters, and other test assets
- Related experience working in a Manufacturing, Assembly, Aviation or Naval Environment with hands on technical experience in repair, installation, and inspection.
- Experience in performing product tests by utilizing procedures, manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, verbal instructions, and other related documentation under limited supervision.
