NOW HIRING: MASTER PHYSICAL SECURITY SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN Parkersburg, WV Area | Field Position $35$50/hour, based on experience & licensing Full-Time | HourlyParkersburg Mancan is partnering with a local company seeking an experienced Master Physical Security Systems Technician to serve as the top technical expert on their field services team.This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, low-voltage systems, and IP networking who is ready to lead complex projects and mentor technicians. RESPONSIBILITIESLead complex installations, programming, integration, and commissioningTroubleshoot advanced security, network, and system integration issuesEstablish and maintain installation, quality, safety, and code-compliance standardsLead, train, and mentor technicians at all experience levelsPartner with project managers on scheduling, materials, scope, and problem resolutionPerform final system testing, inspections, and customer walkthroughsEnsure installations meet NEC, manufacturer, and industry standardsServe as a technical resource for customers, contractors, and other tradesMaintain tools, testing equipment, vehicles, and inventoryPromote and enforce job-site safety procedures REQUIREMENTSTwo or more active licenses in Alarm, Electrical (ELE), and/or Low Voltage7+ years of experience installing, integrating, and troubleshooting physical security systemsExpert knowledge of access control, video surveillance, intrusion, and low-voltage systemsStrong understanding of IP networking and NEC requirementsProven ability to lead crews and mentor techniciansAbility to read and modify blueprints, schematics, and riser diagramsAdvanced skills with tools and testing/commissioning equipmentAbility to work on ladders/lifts and lift up to 50 lbs.High school diploma/GEDValid driver's license and clean driving recordPreferred: NICET Level II+, manufacturer certifications, experience in commercial/healthcare/education environments, and previous technical supervision experience.
