This contract opportunity allows a dedicated School Psychologist or Diagnostician to positively impact academic achievement and behavioral growth, serving students across multiple sites within a supportive district.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate in School Psychology or a closely related field
• Valid New Mexico PED School Psychologist License (required)
• Ability and willingness to travel between schools within the district
• Prior experience with student evaluations and multi-disciplinary team collaboration preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to inform educational planning
• Manage an average caseload of 30-40 student evaluations, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and timelines
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective intervention plans
• Support student mental health and learning goals through expert guidance and evidence-based strategies
• Contribute to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and special education processes
• Maintain detailed records and prepare clear, actionable evaluation reports
• Travel to school sites across the district as needed
