About the Role

The Company is seeking a President to serve as its chief executive, with a focus on strategic leadership, organizational stewardship, and a deep commitment to the mission of improving health and reducing the burden of illness, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization's overall strategy, operations, and mission delivery, in close partnership with the Board of Directors and staff. The President will also be tasked with overseeing grantmaking activities, ensuring alignment with the strategic plan, and advancing measurable progress toward health equity and community well-being. Candidates for the President position at the company should bring deep expertise in health, public health, or related fields, and a demonstrated record of coalition building and systems-level change. The ideal candidate will be a highly relational leader, capable of strengthening the organization's bridge between public systems and the community, and will have a deep understanding of health equity, public affairs, and the broader conditions that impact the well-being of individuals and communities. Financial stewardship, nonprofit governance, and people leadership are also key competencies, with the expectation that the President will steward the organization's assets with sound judgment, and foster a collaborative, mission-driven culture that supports the staff in their work.
