Role We are looking for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join our Customer Service team, reporting to the Manager, Product Support. This is a hybrid position based in Escazú, Costa Rica, requiring you to be onsite three days per week. You will be part of a global, customer-focused team dedicated to delivering high-impact experiences and identifying innovative solutions. Your focus will be on providing expert, hands‑on support from the implementation phase and beyond to ensure customers achieve their goals and leverage our technology to its fullest potential within a customer‑centric culture that fosters success and continuous growth. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Provide front‑line phone and email consultation to independently debug complex security and network problems Partner with Engineering to assist customers with testing and troubleshooting while providing feedback on product improvements Document detailed entries for incident resolutions in the technical support database to ensure solutions are actionable for customers and the internal team Mentor team members on advanced troubleshooting techniques and support the development of ongoing training programs Analyze customer use‑cases to provide impactful input on product direction through the entire product cycle Who You Are (Success Profile) You thrive in ambiguity. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) 2+ years of experience troubleshooting SSL, and TCP/IP Familiarity with network transformation technologies such as MPLS, SD‑WAN, or WAN Optimization Background knowledge of Internet and Security technologies including SWG, Sandboxing, Firewalls, DLP, and VPNs Strong ability to efficiently read and analyze packet captures Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Experience using Terraform for network configurations Vendor certifications such as CCNA or equivalent technical credentials Working knowledge of web‑based security including Security Proxies, NGFW, and SSL/IPSec VPNs Benefits Our Benefits program is one of the most important ways we support our employees.
