EBSH Interim Assistant Administrator – Whittier, CA Position: Interim Assistant Administrator Location: Whittier, CA Employment Type: Full‑Time Annual Salary: $74,000 Hours: 8‑hour shift, on‑call Job Summary Assist the Administrator with overseeing daily activities in the home while providing high‑quality care to clients, establishing and implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, and ensuring the health, safety, and overall well‑being of clients. Job Functions Work collaboratively with the Administrator on development of daily operations of the house(s) Manage performance of direct reports, including coaching, counseling, discipline, and performance management; recruit and make hiring decisions for vacancies Help establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with management, organization officials, and staff as necessary Maintain client files and facility file as specified in California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 17 Maintain ongoing resident ID notes, review staff ID notes on every client daily, prepare and submit quarterly progress reports in accordance with CCR Title 17, Chapter 3, Subchapter 4, §56026 Meet with identified agencies and service providers, including representatives from Regional Center, Community Care Licensing, and day programs as needed Determine staff requirements, interview, hire, and train new employees Participate in Individual Program Plan, Transition, and Interdisciplinary (ID) team meetings and maintain open communication with family members Obtain medical and dental evaluations, emergency care, and follow physician’s orders for consumers Manage all financial costs associated with home(s), such as program supplies, utilities, labor, etc. Recruit, train, and manage staff while preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties Perform other related duties and assignments as required Requirements Adult Residential Facility Administrator Certification (ARF) Registered Behavior Technician Certification (RBT) DSP I and DSP II certificates CPR/FA and CPI certification High‑school Diploma or equivalent Minimum Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience supporting clients with developmental disabilities of Level 4I or higher in a home setting, providing special services to individuals with a high level of behaviors.
