The market is located in a beautifully restored 1922 bank building at the corner of Adams and Eliot Streets, blending historic character with a fresh, chef‑driven vision. Two Pence Market will feature seasonal produce, specialty groceries, prepared foods, a coffee bar, smoothies, house‑made bagels, an ice‑cream window, and outdoor patio seating. The ice‑cream counter will feature an ice‑cream partnered with Toscanini’s, a renowned Cambridge‑based ice‑cream company. Pack and manage take‑out and online orders. Make smoothies. Take and scoop ice‑cream orders at the counter and window. Stocking and maintenance of the market. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of 8–10 hours. Frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds. Regularly bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and perform repetitive motions. Work in a fast‑paced environment and safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Compensation : Base pay $12/hour plus tips, anticipated to total $15–$22/hour. If tips do not surpass $3/hr, the minimum will be $15/hour.
