As a key member of the management team, you will drive all technology initiatives of the Company. This position is ideal for an entrepreneurial minded technology expert someone looking to make a large impact on a small but growing company.Reports to: CEOResponsibilities: The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and driving the execution of technological initiatives, improving operations, managing strategic projects, and identifying new opportunities to apply technology to business functions or services. Travel: Minimal, arising out of business necessity Location: Westminster, CODuties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop a clear understanding of how technology can accelerate growth, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfactionOwn architectural decisions on enterprise technology, and manage daily functional performanceManage full cycle development process, from planning through releaseRoll up sleeves and be involved with hands-on coding as neededManage technology related projects, systems implementations, and vendors Serve as technical lead on projects with customers, business partners, and outside vendorsCollaborate with customers to architect new technology productsManage, coach, and develop junior team membersServe as a trusted technology advisor to executive teamSolve problems and think strategically to develop creative technology solutionsPreferred QualificationsBS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field8+ years of total professional experience, including 2-4 years of developing software and/or BI dashboardsWell versed in various coding languages, including SQL, TypeScrip/JavaScript, Node.js, Go, PHP, and React.jsComprehensive understanding of full stack development processes and proceduresSolid understanding of business applications, enterprise systems (e.g., SQL database, intelligence dashboards, etc.), and cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS) Experience constructing databases and developing API integrations with external systemsProven ability to maintain a flexible technology stack and to translate business needs to system configurationsDemonstrated history of effectively managing multiple projects, deliverables and initiativesDesire to wear multiple hats and ability to scale up and down (i.e., get hands dirty coding meet with clients) depending on business needs
