As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a government services location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, respond to incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to individuals, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
