As the Staff Accountant, you will assist with cost accounting, aid in the month end close process, perform account reconciliations, process accounts receivable/payable transactions, assist with inventory maintenance, analyze general ledger activity, and create financial schedules. The ideal candidate for this role should have great problem-solving skills, excellent time management and strong attention to detail.Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:· Supporting the daily accounting department functions· Support Month end/Year end Close· Journal Entries· Invoicing· Labor reconciliation· Balance sheet account reconciliations· Monthly/Quarterly/Annual state sales tax filings· A/R Collections· New customer setup· Assisting with state compliance reporting· Support the annual CPA reviewRequirements:On-site, full-time role in Reading, PA.Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred, or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years' experienceStrong attention to detailExcellent time managementStrong analytical skillsWork both independently and in collaboration with othersProficient in Microsoft ExcelIf you're looking for an interesting career in a unique industry, contact us for consideration.
